All Services Listed - time charges are billed in half-hour increments as a minimum charge.

Digital Audio - Mastering, Editing, or Restoration*
$100.00 per hour – Minimum of 1/2 hour or $50.00 per track if non attended session.

Forensic Work
$100.00 per hour – Minimum of 1 hour

Digital Transfers, Direct Analog Transfers, or Format Conversions*
$35.00 per hour (with no alterations to the content – direct one-to-one transfer) - Minimum of 1/2 hour

On-Location Digital Audio Recording or Broadcasting*
$600.00 per session up to 8 hours ($112..50 per overtime hour for each additional hour) + expenses per diem
(if needed)

Please note: It takes approximately one hour to set up equipment for a recording session and another hour to tear it down. When planning your recording session, please make time for these two hours in scheduling. These two hours will be included the eight hours quoted in the rate above. If the recording location is more than 35miles from our facility, or if the session will take more than one day to complete, an expense fee will be charged. This is used to cover travel, food, and lodging. The average expense fee is $150.00 per day, per person - dependent on location and number of personnel needed.

Audio Design, Facilities Consultation, or Technical Support
$100.00 per hour plus travel expenses - Minimum of three hours

Our Responsibilities to You

Acoustik Musik, Ltd., Room with a View Production is a professional organization committed to providing only the finest work. If there is a problem with the services we provide, we will redo them at no cost to you. Please note that if there is copied media involved the cost of such media is NOT covered under the guarantee, Changes requested after the project is approved by the client will be subject to normal time charges.
Any additional expenses are the responsibility of the client.

There are no other warranties or liabilities stated or implied.

Acoustik Musik, Ltd., Room with a View Productions will not be held responsible for unsuitable media purchased by the client, including media that is defective or damaged before it reaches our facility or after it leaves. We are not responsible for any recording or processing done before the project arrives at our facility, or after the master leaves our facility. The level of audio and or video quality you hear/see in our studios is the level of quality that will be recorded onto your media. Other playback systems at other facilities may or may not reproduce the same level of quality. You are agreeing to accept the level of quality you hear/see in our studios when you leave our facility.

By the use of our facilities, the client agrees to honor all union rules and copyright laws. Acoustik Musik, Ltd., Room with a View Production will not be held as a party in any actions resulting from the client’s infringement of such rules and/or laws.

All copyrighted material must have written permission from the legal copyright holder
before it can be copied or used in the production of media.
There is no exception to this policy.

These terms cannot be negated or modified verbally.

All CD-R and or DVD media must be paid for by the client, as they are not returnable or reusable.

Full payment is expected at the end of the session(s) and before the materials are released to the client, unless other arrangements have been made and approved of by both parties in advance. Terms are NET/CASH. We reserve the right to request payment in advance. Estimates will be given, if requested, based on the information that the client provides. If the conditions which the client describes when requesting an estimate change, the previously estimated charge may vary. Time-based charges for attended sessions by the client begin at the the scheduled time. Sessions canceled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged for two (2) hours at normal rates. We prefer the client to be at the Post Production/Mastering session(s). If the client cannot attend, the client is authorizing us to use our best judgment when working on the materials submitted. Storage of the client’s materials is provided for the the length of the session(s) only. Clients storing materials past that period will incur a small storage fee. Clients should contact us with questions before the scheduled session time. All questions should be answered to the client’s satisfaction before we begin.
